Our Manufacturing

Hardmill is proud to have built a network of talented suppliers to help us craft the highest quality products we can. There have been many phases of what our production has looked like through the years, starting in a Seattle garage in 2012. As we have grown, one thing that we don't sacrifice on is quality. We go the extra mile to make sure that no matter who is helping us make our products, the materials used are the best, and that when the Hardmill label is put on, it can be a trusted mark of true craftsmanship. 

Leon, Mexico Workshop

We have worked directly with leather tanneries in Leon, MX for many years, an area known as the leather craftsmanship capitol of the world. We now produce many of our full leather products in Leon, working with the very talented craftspeople who have been working with leather for generations. 

India Workshop 

We work with a renowned production partner in India that has been family-run for 3 generations, and which fully funds a school for over 1200 underprivileged kids in their community. They both weave and wax the canvas, and do sewn construction - so we have direct control on the quality of materials going into our products. We have worked with them to set up a 'Hardmill workshop' within their facility for the crafting of many of our waxed canvas goods. 

Seattle Workshop

Our Seattle production is where we bring many of our custom projects to life. Led by an industry veteran with over 40 years of experience, and supported by a skilled team of craftspeople, many of whom have been in the Seattle sewn goods industry for decades. 

By working with partners who are both producing the raw material for our products and helping craft them, we are able to have full control on the materials used in our products, and reduce the expensive and time consuming process of transporting raw materials around.
